How accessible are the grounds?

While the venue is not fully ADA accessible, the areas we are using to host are all one level. Cars are permitted on the property and you can drive between cabins and the lodge if you'd like. You can request an ADA accessible room on the pre-planning survey that will be sent via email after check out.

The property is hilly! To get from the cabins to the event center, pool, and conference room, there is a walk that includes a large hill. We will have a van and camp counselor on site who will be taking people to and from their cabins at a scheduled interval. If you need to have a handicap van accessible please let us know.

We are happy to communicate with you throughout your planning and will be on site during the stay should you need any accommodations. Please do not hesitate to let us know how we can make this weekend as accessible as possible for you.

Will transportation be provided from the airport?

Last year we seamlessly set up carpools. This year, we will try to do the same via our Facebook group. Please join our facebook page that will be linked in the email received after check out.

What are your Covid-19 precautions?

As Covid cases are currently rising we will ask that anyone attending the retreat be fully vaccinated before attending. You will be asked to provide proof of vaccine with an image of your vaccine card sent to us after you sign up to attend.

You will be asked to take a rapid test upon arrival, please take the proper precautions before arrival and quarantine if needed. Refunds will not be provided for last minute illness cancellations.

Due to the nature of the pandemic, these requirements may change.

Will alcohol be provided?

Alcohol will not be provided by Fat Camp hosts. You are welcome to bring your own alcohol and keep it in your cabin. If you are being paired with a new friend for a cabin, you can let us know if you are sober and we will make every effort to pair you with someone who will also not be imbibing.

We ask that everyone be responsible and follow state and local laws regarding alcohol, and that you do not use any glass bottles on the property. Please be sure to clean up any waste created as well.

Soda, water, seltzer, juice, and other various drinks will be available. Please make sure you let us know if you have any specific requests in our pre-planning survey.

Are meals provided?

Yes, all meals will be provided. On Saturday we will be having a large brunch and dinner instead of breakfast, lunch and dinner, to make room for our full schedule. Please let us know if you have any specific dietary needs that we can accommodate.

What time should we arrive?

You can arrive on the property as early as 7pm on Thursday July 20th.

What time do we leave?

We must leave the property by 10am on Sunday July 23rd

Are pets allowed?

No pets are allowed on the property. Please let us know in advance if you have a service animal that needs to accompany you during your stay.

Will there be bugs?

Summertime in Kansas means there will almost certainly be some flying friends around. Please come prepared with insect repellant.

If we buy a whole cabin can we put as many people in it as we'd like?

No. This is why we ask for each individual to check out separately. We are selling event tickets, not cabins. Your cabin is being provided because of your event attendance and fee paid. Please respect our guidelines about room occupancy and do not attempt to bring extra people, they will be turned away.

Is smoking allowed?

No smoking is allowed inside any of the facilities at East Bank. Smoking must be at least 20 feet from any entrance and you must deposit butts in receptacles.

What's your return/refund policy?

Your ticket is fully refundable within 30 days of purchasing, and 50% refundable afterward until April 20th, 2023. If you need to cancel for any reason, Tay and Corissa will work diligently to help you re-home your ticket up to two weeks before the event.
